The white paper of De Vinyl Klub

Here we are. What kind of klub are we, and why do we write it with a 'k'? What is this box that you keep talking about, what will I find in it? There might be many questions about what is and what we plan to do with De Vinyl Klub, and we are sure it is going to be fun to read this article in a few months or years, to see how everything has dramatically changed.

First things first. De Vinyl Klub is born as a subscription service, where every month we send out 1 or 2 records to our subscribers. We want to add stories to your collection, not just records, thus here comes our storytelling effort of connecting with artists to hear their story and what their music is about. It will not always be possible to connect with the artists that we send out with the box, but we'll try.

De Vinyl Klub is not only for paying subscribers. We want to connect music lovers to the artists, even without vinyl records or surprise boxes. You will see spotlight interviews, DJ selected gems, and more of such formats. We want to talk to DJs, producers, labels, club owners, hell, even the bouncers! De Vinyl Klub will be a place to hear their stories. Our focus is on the electronic music and techno scene, especially the one that is local to The Netherlands. Will we expand? Probably. When? Not sure.

We hope to make a music community along the way. As of today, it is probably too early to speak about that. But we will definitely try our best.
